The Wind River Painting on deer skin is a Patricia Wolf work of art with the character of a museum artifact. Native Americans painted hides to record events by painting deer hides, which were handed down to future generations as family heirlooms. This hide portrays a story with  tee pee abodes, ponies for travel, and a buffalo hunt, illustrating Native village life. The hide is folded over a cedar stick and adorned with feathers, sheep wool, and beaded tassels wrapped on the stick ends. Fowl feathers and beaded medallions embellish the hide. Add this authentic native accent to your Western or Southwestern themed home.  Hide size will vary, and no two hides are alike. Shown in Gold deer skin. The stick is approximately 56 inches long with the hide measuring approximately 30"H x 40"W.

Patricia Wolf products are made one at a time and require a great deal of artistic handwork and embellishment. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery. Orders often ship sooner.
